The next Polish judge, Agnieszka Niklas-Bibik from Regional Court in Słupsk, was suspended

▶️ The next Polish judge, Agnieszka Niklas-Bibik from Regional Court in Słupsk, was suspended for questioning the legal status of neo-judges on 29 October 2021.

▶️ She was suspended for 30-days with a view of prolongement by the Disciplinary Chamber for undefined period of time.

▶️ Decision on her provisional suspension was issued by the President of Regional Court in Słupsk, Andrzej Michałowicz, ilegally appointed for this position by Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro during the purge of presidents of courts conducted in 2017/2018 (see ECtHR judgement Bojara and Broda v Poland of 29.06.2021 ). Andrzej Michałowicz is a husband of a prominent member of neo-NCJ – Joanna Kołodziej Michałowicz.

▶️ Judge Agnieszka Niklas-Bibik is very active in defence of the rule of law in Poland, among others she is a member of the Presidium of Forum of Cooperation of Judges (non formal organisation created by Polish judges to replace politically compromised neo-NCJ). She is also an author of the first translation to Polish of a the groundbreaking ECtHR judgement Reczkowicz v. Poland⬇️
