Further to the decision of the President of the Regional Court in Kraków regarding the transfer of judge Waldemar Żurek, against his will, to another department, the Association of Judges, THEMIS, declares that this decision was made in the absence of an appropriate opinion of the Board of the Regional Court.

This is another manifestation of the disregard of the provisions of the law and the remnants of the association of judges, which guards the independence of the courts, which is being liquidated.

The Association of Judges, THEMIS, upholds its position of 31 July 2018 and declares that it will give its full support of both judge Waldemar Żurek and any judge who falls victim of the system or personal harassment.
